3DM-FotoMetrics
Product Outline
3DM-FotoMetrics is a system that automatically computes the 3D coordinates of retro targets in images taken by the pre-calibrated digital camera, at an accuracy as high as 1 over 150000 of the measurement space.
Features
- Automatic measurement by use of coded targets
- Very high accuracy with RMS less than 1/150000 of measurement space (*for example, RMS less than 20 microns in a measurement space of 3 meters)
- Saves time by processing wireless transmitted images while taking images continuously
- Saves time by allowing multiple cameras to be used in one project
- Measurement reports with numbered targets shown in the images
Operation Flow
- Place regular targets at where you want to measure
- Place coded targets and scale bars in the measure space
- Take images by the pre-calibrated digital camera from multiple viewpoints
- Automatically compute the 3D coordinates of targets by the software
- Output 3D coordinates with numbered targets shown in the images
Examples of Use
- 3D metrology and inspection for cars, airplanes, ships, bridges, etc.
- 3D measurement of shape changes
- High-accuracy registration of 3D point cloids
